If you like milkshakes, and who doesn't, this is an item you shouldn't be without. Just like the milkshake mixers I knew in the fifties, only even more attractive.
great for what my son-in-law needs for his protein shakes and malts.now my husband wants one.
2009: after about six months of light usage it died, it is a one star, avoid it. Well worth the extra money, the motor does not get hot after a minute-and-half like cheaper rivals. Turn it on and off by turning the "head" to left or right.Appears to be rugged and robust and likely to last a long time.UPDATE, Feb.
The container is easy to handle--I just wish the container held a little more. It blends the ingredients quickly and easily. The turn top for speed control is easy to use.
This is not the easiest way, so I decided to buy a unit similar to ones found in ice cream shops. I keep it on my kitchen counter ready to use. For many years, I have used a blender to make milkshakes.
SO easy--just add ice cream, milk, flavoring and mix. What a great buy. I picked this unit because of the chrome finish--easier to keep clean.
I am VERY happy with this item.
its an after dinner tradition to watch Pop make milkshakes the old fashioned way. Makes great shakes.
Cleans easily. Looks nice on my counter tucked in a corner waiting for the next family event.
Bought this product because of its reasonable price and retro look. this one was the best priced with the right look.
Doesn't take up much space. Pop uses it every time the grands come for dinner.
I priced other similar products.
